Close  button
Clicking the Close
button from the
Options dialog is equivalent to clicking the Cancel
button and will return you to the
Configuration window.
Run at Startup
This will cause the program to start when the computer starts.
Fast Scroll
Scrolls a full page at a time as apposed to one icon at a time.
Automatically Click Icons
When this checkbox is checked, the child need only move the mouse over the
intended icon, on the icon bar, within Hoopah for Kids. When the mouse pointer
pauses over a given icon for 1 second, the given option is automatically
selected WITHOUT clicking the mouse. This feature may be useful for
children who have not yet mastered clicking the left mouse button. This
option is NOT selected by default.
Automatically Download New Sites
When this checkbox is checked, Hoopah for Kids will periodically (about every
week) connect to Hoopah.com and
download the latest reviewed web sites.
Show Tool Tips
Will display the name of each program or web site when the mouse is positioned
over a menu icon.
Online Time Limit
This option is useful for parent who want to restrict the amount of time their
child spends on the computer. When the timeout interval is greater than 0,
the web browser will automatically display the
Enter Password dialog box when the timeout is reached. The timeout
timer starts when the first icon is clicked and can be reset by entering the
parental control password.
Help Button
The Help Button displays the document you are now viewing within Hoopah for
Kids.
OK Button
Clicking on the OK button will save your changes, close the Options
dialog box and return you to the Configuration
window.
Cancel Button
Clicking the Cancel Button will immediately close the Options dialog
box and return you to the Configuration
window without saving your changes. |
